I hired Min Min as a tour guide for three days during a five day trip to Shanghai with my 18 year old niece. Min Min is unfailingly pleasant, extraordinarily energetic, and knows Shanghai quite well. She was also very careful with prices, finding local restaurants and negotiating at markets for us. She has good English skills and communicating with her to arrange the tours was quite simple. I would recommend her to friends needing a guide in Shanghai.

Min Min is a true professional with enthusiasm, knowledge and follow through. We came to Shanghai on a film assignment and asked Min Min to help us arrange various shoots. Even before our arrival to Shanghai, she helped us translate documents via email. After our initial day with her, Min Min continued to field calls and make appointments with various clients. I had the opportunity to have Min Min take me on an excursion to Zha Jia Jiao Ancient Watertown during a visit to Shanghai in May of 2007. I found her to be a prompt, knowledgeable and very competent guide. We had a wonderful time in an area I probably would not have visited otherwise. I am planning another trip to Shanghai in May 2008 and will certainly make use of her knowledge of China and Shanghai again.

I would like to thank you for such a wonderful trip to Shanghai.

Without your help my husband and I would not have enjoyed ourselves so much, nor would we have seen or learned so much about your beautiful city.

The places you took us to and the information and advice you gave us was brilliant!  Without your bartering on our behalf  I'm sure we would have spent a lot more money than we did, yet we got some beautiful gifts at a fraction of the cost to bring back home with us.

We especially enjoyed the visit to the Vintage Watertown, that was exceptional.

Special thanks must be given to you for showing us how to use your train system which is excellent, very quick and very cheap.  Once you had left us we were able to get around very easily.

Nothing was too much trouble for you, you took us where we wanted to go, not like on other organised tours where the tour is mapped out adhered to rigorously.

The restaurants you took us to were also very good.  The food was second to none.

You certainly gave us great memories Min Min,  the people, the food and of course the sites.  These memories will stay with us forever and my husband and I would definitely recommend you as a tour guide.


Thanks again a good luck for the future and if we are lucky enough to come back to Shanghai we will certainly contact you.

I usually avoid group tours, preferring to explore on my own. I only had a limited amount of time in Shanghai, and my Chinese language skills are limited. Min Min was very efficient, enabling me to see a lot of Shanghai without the restrictions of a group tour.

Min Min is an excellent tour guide.  She helped me to see many of the places in Shanghai that I had heard so much about. She also took me to places I never would have found on my own.  If you plan to do any shopping, she is the right person to bring along.  Her bargaining skills saved me over 40% on some of my purchases.  If you ever have the chance to visit Shanghai, I highly recommend her services.
